Operations Planner

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate would be responsible for the efficient planning of vessel and terminal operations including co-ordinating the terminal’s operational labour force.

Qualifications:

· Some experience of shipping/operations planning

· Willingness to learn and develop skills in a fast-paced environment

· Excellent communication skills

· Ability to establish and maintain excellent relationships at all levels

· Able to demonstrate problem solving and negotiation skills

· First class attention to detail and highly conscientious

· Awareness of financial and commercial issues

· Work effectively under pressure, meeting strict deadlines and successfully managing a number of priorities.

Experience & Skills

· Good use of IT, including excel and word

· Knowledge of Terminal Operating Systems (desirable).

Further Information:

Due to the nature of this role the successful applicant will be required to be flexible on hours and part of the weekend working rota.
